Peter has been a regular member of the Asheville Chess Club for well over a decade. Originally from New York, Peter has played in major events all over the country. Most recently, Peter won the open section of Asheville’s own Land of the Sky XXXVI in early 2024.

Peter also has his own granola company, and you can always count on him to have some on hand.

Morris joined the Asheville Chess club in 2019. Hailing from Pennsylvania, Morris loves the game of chess and has been playing in tournaments for 17 years.

Morris teaches chess and is available for individual chess coaching, especially for someone who is interested in playing in tournaments!

Tsotne, better known as T., is a recent transplant to the Asheville area. He has quickly become a regular for the Asheville Chess club and one of its strongest players. T has played in various tournaments across the country and is especially fond of Blitz time controls.

T is available for individual chess lessons and coaching. He has extensive teaching experience in both individual and group settings from his years as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Tennessee. His current USCF rating is 2051.
