Striving to provide a fun and friendly community for people of all ages and skill levels to enjoy the game of chess.
About
The Asheville Chess Club has been around for over 40 years, bringing the community together for friendly competition and learning. We are looking to expand our reach, to bring in new players, host new types of events, and welcome as many new faces as we can into the competitive world of chess. We currently host two USCF-rated tournaments every month, on the first Wednesday evening, and the third Saturday of each month. Meetings and tournaments are held at the Arthur R. Edington Education and Career Center at 133 Livingston St, Asheville, NC 28801.
We hope to see you there!
